As per the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam’s verbal statement Kaziranga National Park will be open from 1st of October 2016 but till today no any official notification has been declared. The National Park authority is still under discussion on this matter. Roads and Brides inside the Park were damaged due to high flood last month. It is mandatory to repair all to Tourist Roads and Bridges at all Ranges of Kaziranga National Park to open it for visitors for the upcoming season 2016-17.
